The Garcade

Championship Sprint carries many great childhood memories with it.  I first played this game at the old Gilroy Skate Arena back in the late 80s.  It used to be a challenge trying to work the gas pedal with the front brake of your roller skates, but we managed.  This game was addicting in that even if you were terrible at it, you were always better than one of your friends, and if you happened to lose to the computer you could always throw another quarter in and try to beat them again.  The more your car got upgraded with speed, acceleration, and traction the crazier the games got.  Championship Sprint is another part of the Atari System II classic lineup, and one that I am thankful for finally being able to acquire.  Anyone can walk up to a racing game and have a blast playing it, so what better game to do so than this one?
